strategy: tree view edit mode

Select the edit view, by clicking on the pen icon, top right of level 2 nav.

What you can see is subject to the security settings on each strategy card.

HIERARCHY

As you add and remove connections, each strategy card type will rename automatically to maintain the hierarchy of: goal > objective > action > project.

EDITING CARDS

Click on any box to edit the key properties of the card, or to add a child.

When you add a child, the key properties of the parent are copied to the child.

ADDING CONNECTIONS

To add a connection, click on the tree icon at bottom right (just above the green floating plus).

With that mode enabled (the tree icon is blue), you can then draw a connection between cards.

To exit 'add connection' mode, click on the tree icon again (to change it from blue to grey).

Note, only the Owner/Assignors/Creator of the child, may add a connection to parent.

REMOVING CONNECTIONS

To remove a connection, click on the orange arrow between two cards.

Note, only the Owner/Assignors/Creator of the child, may remove a connection to parent.

ADJUST LAYOUT AFTER EDITING THE TREE

Click on the 'refresh' icon at bottom right (just above the green floating plus).
